After a nine-thousand-mile season of exploring the Pacific islands, Independence arrives in Fiji. Join Rick to explore the far flung Fijian island chains, meet the locals, swim in manta alley, and explore the beautiful Bay of Islands. Then make a mad dash to Australia to avoid a cyclone, experience New Years eve in Sydney harbor and cruise every nook and cove of the eastern Australian coastline ending at Thursday Island, the Northern-most Australian territory.

Capt. Rick is a member of the Ocean Cruising Club, The Cruising Club of America, the Seven Seas Cruising Association, and the Darien Sail & Power Squadron.

A marine industry veteran, Rick was the business manager at Norwalk Cove Marina and Rex Marine, and one of the project managers of Cakewalk, the largest megayacht ever built in the United States.
