Traditionally, SUSers meet for Drinks, Appetizers, Dinner – whatever you want to eat – instead of having a formal Program meeting in February. This year we’re going to KONA GRILL in Stamford. It is located just outside the parking garage at Stamford Town Center. The address on Tresser Blvd is above for your GPS convenience. There is plenty of convenient parking in the Town Center garage. You can enter the garage from Tresser Blvd and you’ll drive past the Kona Grill on your left just before the garage entrance. Check the parking meters, you’ll most likely have to pay a little bit to park.
We’ll meet at 6 PM (or come later that’s okay) for drinks at the bar. We’ll get “happy hour” prices on drinks until 7 pm. There is an alcove near the far end of the bar where SUSers can congregate with your drinks so we’ll be separate from the main bar crowd. Look for us there. The Kona Grill manager will seat us in the main dining room about 7 pm in an area where we can all be together. And they have agreed to do “separate checks”! You can see their menu at www.konagrill.com. They have a variety of apps, soups, salads, sandwiches (including burgers), seafood, meat and pasta entrees, sushi and desserts. Prices are reasonable.
